CORE 256

Core 256 may not take up much space, but the power you can squeeze out of this little box might just make your jaw drop to the floor. With tons of channels, a wide palette of digital connectivity, built-in SPQ processing, Eucon control compatibility, internal summing engine and drivers for macOS and Windows 10, it is a pristine digital audio interface by any measure and for just about any application. However, there is one application that should be emphasized in particular: Core 256 is simply the perfect Dante and MADI interface for any demanding live sound application – be it FOH, Monitor Mix or Playback Station. SPQ speaker EQ management is available natively in the core with access to 1,024 filters combined into 64 channels with 16 filters, each with adjustable delay. The channel processor provides a signal detection logic for all input and output channels, PPM level measurement as well as level control.

Next-Gen AD/DA/DD & Audio Routing

AX64 is a multi-format modular audio Interface with 8 slots for the acclaimed audio I/O cards known from the AX32 and Penta product family, A/D and D/A converter, router and monitoring system with 256 Ch Thunderbolt 3, 256 Ch Dante I/O, MADI 64 Ch BNC I/O, 16 Ch ADAT dual TosLink, which can also be 2 Ch S/PDIF, as well as built-in Pro|Mon with 512×64 Ch summing and 64 Ch speaker EQ processing. AX64 is the ultimate modular multi-format interface, which is ready to take on a wealth of tasks in the Post Production, Studio, Live Music and Installed Audio spheres. In total, AX64 has a capacity of 4,096×4,096 non-blocking cross points, which provides a capacity of 1,500×1,500 cross points on the I/O and processing level. The matrix provides fixed latency routing of all inputs to one or more outputs with a latency of only 5 audio samples and supports sample rates from 44.1 to 384 kHz.

MOM: Monitor Operating Module

For situations where hands-on control is second to none

MOM is the perfect, tactile match for one or more Core 256, AX64, AX32 and DX32R units equipped with the PRO|MON|3 monitor control license. MOM is a remote control, connected via Ethernet, and no audio is actually passing through the unit. The audio-routing magic happens within the Core 256, AX64, AX32 or DX32R and is set up via the DADman software. But once you connect MOM, the magic now resides right at your fingertips. The LAYER function allows you to tailor several different roles in the configuration settings within the DADman software with PRO|MON|3 license. A useful application for the layers are for large production rooms where many engineers share the controller. While working perfectly fine in combination with the DADman software, its real power is revealed when used in combination with EUCON control surfaces such as the Avid Dock, S4, S6 or even the free Control app, as MOM-operation is synchronized with these units. Simply select e.g. a source on the Dock and the corresponding key on the MOM will light up, and vice versa, what you do on the MOM is also reflected on the Dock.
